About Us

We are a family run business, but also have 6 fantastic members of staff who are qualified in Animal care level 3, so you can rest assured your pets are in experienced hands, they are truly passionate and dedicated to all the pets in their care, as if they were their own.

We took over the existing boarding establishment in 2010 and had a vision of what we wanted to achieve and what we wanted to offer pet owners and their precious pets and felt that most places left a lot to be desired.

Our dreams are now reality and our hard work and high standards have now earned us the best reputation and reviews we could ever have wished for and our main aim now is to keep these standards and improve our facilities and services in any way we can to benefit our residents who stay with us time and time again. We have now been awarded 5 stars by Durham County Council for the care & facilities we offer.

As pet owners we fully understand your concerns about leaving them, we put regular updates, pictures and videos via our Facebook page, to try and reduce the worry of owners whilst on holiday, which seem to help seeing a picture for their own eyes.

We have sadly lost Gizmo our pug due to old age and we also lost Sumo our Boerboel to bloat who was only 3 years old , we are now dog less for the time being, as we couldn’t replace them with the same breed so we are now proud owners of Anubis our special little Sphynx hairless cat who lives in our home as part of our family.
